PATNA: Bihar will celebrate “real Diwali” on November 14 following a significant defeat of the RJD and its coalition partners in the assembly elections, declared Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday. Shah criticized the Lalu Prasad-led party for including Osama Shahab, the son of gangster-turned-politician Mohammad Shahabuddin, on the ballot during a rally in the Siwan area of Bihar. “The residents must ensure that Shahabuddin’s son, who is contesting from the Raghunathpur seat, experiences a humiliating defeat in the assembly elections. The people of Siwan have endured Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi’s ‘jungle raj’ for at least 20 years.
I am confident that the people of Bihar will celebrate real Diwali on November 14 when the election results are revealed. The RJD and its alliance partners will face a humiliating defeat,” stated the home minister. Shah also claimed that the opposition INDIA bloc in Bihar is now completely fragmented. Criticizing the Congress for its recent ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in the state, he remarked, “Rahul Gandhi asserts that infiltrators should remain here. However, rest assured that not a single infiltrator will be allowed to stay in Bihar.”
