Srinagar, May 4 (). An encounter has started between security forces against terrorists in Drach of Vanigam Payeen Kriri area of Baramulla district of North Kashmir. Officials gave this information on Thursday.
Police said, the encounter has started in Vanigam Payeen Kriri area of Baramulla. Police and security forces are doing their job.
A joint team of police and security forces had received information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
The security forces cordoned off the area following which the terrorists opened fire on them. Security forces have also retaliated.
In the recent past, there have been several encounters between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir in which several terrorists have been killed.
