Shivamogga (Karnataka), May 10 (). Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on Wednesday claimed that the BJP would get a clear majority in the state. Which will be indicated by the trends of the exit polls coming in the evening.
B.S. Yeddyurappa cast his vote along with his family members at Shikaripura town in Shivamogga district. Talking to reporters about this, he said this to them.
Yeddyurappa’s son BY Vijayendra is contesting from Shikaripura as a BJP candidate. He had reached the polling station with his father.
Yeddyurappa said that I have traveled all over the state. I also know the pulse of the people of 50 years ago and am saying on the basis of that. As Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda have traveled extensively in the state, we will form a majority government. It doesn’t have any message.
He further said that after the exit polls, you will know that the BJP is forming the government. The manifesto of the opposition parties will have no competition with the manifesto of the BJP. The manifesto will be implemented within a week of assuming power. This has also increased the chances of the party’s victory.
Yeddyurappa said that Vijayendra would do a strong job in his constituency and has the support of the people. Addressing reporters, Vijayendra, who is contesting from Shikaripura seat for the first time, said, “My party workers have done a good job.” We will win the election by a margin of 50,000 votes. The development work done by father Yediyurappa in the constituency is a blessing.
Earlier in the day, Yediyurappa and his family offered prayers at the Huchcharaya Swamy temple.
