Bijnor, 25 April (). In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district, a leopard climbed over the wall of a house and dragged away a five-year-old girl playing in the courtyard. The injured child Arshi was later taken to the hospital but by then she had died.
The girl’s father Rizwan Ahmed said she was playing with her eight-year-old brother and some other children of the neighborhood in the courtyard of their house when the leopard attacked her.
The incident took place on the outskirts of Udaipur village in Rehar area of Bijnor.
Rehad is a relatively secluded area surrounded by sugarcane and wheat fields near the Amangarh Tiger Reserve.
