Green Moong Dal Ladoo

Preparation:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups green moong dal (soaked and dry, grated)
- 1 cup ghee
- 3/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup each cashews, almonds, pistachios (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
Method:
- Soak and Grind: Soak green moong dal in water for 4-5 hours. Drain and let it dry. Grind it in a mixer.
- Roast: Heat ghee in a pan. Add grated moong dal and roast over medium heat until light golden brown and fragrant. This may take 10-15 minutes.
- Add Milk and Sugar: Pour milk into the roasted dal and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar and mix again. Cook until sugar dissolves completely.
- Add Dry Fruits and Cardamom: Add chopped cashews, almonds, pistachios, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
- Make Laddoo: When the mixture cools and is easy to handle, form it into small balls. Place the ladoos on a plate and let them cool completely.
- Serve: Green moong dal ladoos are ready to serve. Store them in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
