Method:

  1. Soak and Grind: Soak green moong dal in water for 4-5 hours. Drain and let it dry. Grind it in a mixer.
  2. Roast: Heat ghee in a pan. Add grated moong dal and roast over medium heat until light golden brown and fragrant. This may take 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add Milk and Sugar: Pour milk into the roasted dal and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar and mix again. Cook until sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Add Dry Fruits and Cardamom: Add chopped cashews, almonds, pistachios, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  5. Make Laddoo: When the mixture cools and is easy to handle, form it into small balls. Place the ladoos on a plate and let them cool completely.
  6. Serve: Green moong dal ladoos are ready to serve. Store them in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
