Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) will now launch on November 19, 2026, a shift from the previously anticipated May 2026 release. The developer stated that additional time is required to enhance the game’s quality and eliminate bugs. Such delays are not uncommon for Rockstar, as both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 also experienced postponements before their successful launches. Following the announcement of the delay, fans have begun speculating about the release of GTA 6 Trailer 3. Many believe that the trailer is ready for release and could be unveiled soon. Some fans have detected a concealed video on Rockstar’s YouTube channel, which they suspect may be Trailer 3 awaiting its public reveal.
Discussions on Reddit and X (formerly Twitter) suggest that the trailer might drop on November 11 or 12, 2025, with the recurring appearance of the number 11 in various posts and images, though this could be coincidental. The 2022 leak of GTA 6 featured early footage, characters, and missions, which Rockstar confirmed as authentic, but stated that the game’s development was unaffected. Reports indicate that the new installment will include: a vast open world, real-time weather variations, detailed building interiors, more intelligent police chases and AI, and improved graphics and boating mechanics. Set in Leonida, a fictional representation of Florida, the game promises realistic visuals and gameplay that surpass even Red Dead Redemption 2.
Despite the delay, excitement remains high among fans, who are eagerly monitoring every update from Rockstar. Many are hoping for the imminent release of Trailer 3 or some gameplay footage, as the anticipation for GTA 6 continues to build, solidifying its status as one of the most highly anticipated games worldwide.
