HCLTech, a prominent global technology firm, has partnered with NVIDIA to establish an innovation lab in Santa Clara, California. This facility aims to assist enterprises in exploring, incubating, and scaling applications of physical AI and cognitive robotics. Integrated with HCLTech’s global AI Lab network, the lab will leverage the NVIDIA technology stack and its core platforms, including NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Metropolis, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, NVIDIA Jetson, and NVIDIA Holoscan, alongside HCLTech’s expanding range of physical AI solutions like VisionX, Kinetic AI, IEdgeX, and SmakTwin. This initiative is designed to aid G2000 organizations in experimenting and scaling physical AI projects for enhanced competitiveness.
Deepu Talla, VP of Robotics and Edge AI at NVIDIA, remarked, “Generative physical AI is poised to transform industrial automation, yet overcoming the gap between digital simulation and real-world application is a significant challenge.” He added that HCLTech’s lab will support enterprises in developing, testing, and validating the intricate autonomous systems required to make AI visions a reality.
