Lucknow, May 1 (). In Lucknow, 64 more people were found infected with Kovid in 24 hours. 69 patients were also cured on Sunday. Now the number of active Covid cases in Lucknow has gone up to 514.
According to health department figures, one Covid positive patient died in Lakhimpur Kheri district on Sunday.
Officials said that the Covid positivity rate in the state is 1.63.
On an average, three thousand Covid samples are being tested per day in Lucknow and the positivity rate is more than two per cent.
Gautam Buddha Nagar reported 36 cases, Ghaziabad 32, Varanasi 12, Meerut 16, Gorakhpur 10 and Bulandshahr 11.
With 434 patients recovering across the state, the number of active cases now stands at 2,897, according to health department data.
