Shimla, May 3 (). The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu, on Wednesday decided to provide Rs 1,500 per month as Indira Gandhi Mahila Samman Nidhi to all eligible women of Spiti Valley, including Buddhist nuns above 18 years of age.
It was decided to set up a cabinet sub-committee, with Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri as chairman and Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar and Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh as members, to prepare a white paper on the state’s financial position.
The cabinet also approved the introduction of e-stamping for collection of stamp duty to promote ease-of-doing business. It decided to stop printing physical stamp papers with immediate effect and to authorize stamp vendors as authorized collection centres.
It also allowed the continuation of the dual system of stamps i.e. physical stamp paper and e-stamp paper from April 1 till March 31, 2024, and complete discontinuation of physical stamp paper after April 1, 2024, an official statement said. Will be done. The cabinet decided to give Rs 600 in lieu of school uniform to all eligible students through Direct Benefit Transfer.
It was also decided to increase the honorarium of Numberdars in the Revenue Department from Rs. 3,200 to Rs. 3,700 per month as per the budget announcement, which would benefit about 3,177 people. The cabinet also approved increasing the honorarium of revenue chowkidars or part-time employees from Rs 5,000 to Rs 5,500 per month and this will benefit around 1,950 people.
Approved to increase the rates of court fee from Rs 6 to Rs 20 for filing an application or petition in revenue courts or for making an application for verification of affidavits or other documents in civil courts other than the High Court. The cabinet decided to freeze the existing land use of the Atal Tunnel Planning Area and formation of the Atal Tunnel Planning Area, which includes revenue villages in Lahaul-Spiti district.
