Patna, May 26 (). A woman in Gopalganj, Bihar, who started an extramarital affair after her husband went abroad for his job. When the husband returned, he came to know about the extramarital affair. After this, the woman shot him dead with the help of her lover and two contract killers. The police gave this information on Thursday.
The incident took place on Sunday night at Ladhpur village under Sripur police post in the district. The accused has been identified as Noorjehan Khatoon and her lover as Naushad Alam.
Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Swarna Prabhat said Noorjahan’s extramarital affair developed when her husband Ish Mohammad went abroad for a job. Noorjahan, in the absence of her husband, came in contact with Naushad Alam, a native of Bathua Bazar area. When Ish Mohammad returned home and joined the fish business, he came to know about his wife’s illicit affair. He asked his wife to end the illicit relationship.
The SP said, Noorjahan then conspired to eliminate her husband. She asked her lover to take betel nut. Alam gave contract to Mansoor Alam and Parvez Ansari of Balepur village to kill Ish Mohammad. 50,000 was paid to him. Mansoor Alam and Parvez Ansari came to Ish Mohammad’s house and shot him, while he was sleeping outside the house, both supari killers shot Ish Mohammad. At that time Noor Jahan was watching him from the window.
When we interrogated Noorjahan, she broke down and revealed the entire conspiracy, he said. We have arrested Naushad Alam and two contract killers. Cartridges, five mobile phones and a bike have been recovered from their possession.
