In New Delhi, police reported that an infant was tragically killed after being struck by an SUV in the Samaypur Badli area. The incident occurred around 4 PM on Sunday near Balaji Nursery on Siras Pur Road. According to the police, a 20-year-old driver was behind the wheel when the vehicle collided with the 14-month-old child. The boy’s mother was reportedly standing at the roadside with her son when the speeding SUV hit him. The child suffered severe injuries and was taken to Burari hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A case has been filed under sections 281 (rash driving) and 106(1) (causing death by negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
