Comparing iPhone 13 and iPhone 15: Similar Prices on Amazon India

Amazon India is attracting Apple fans this Diwali by offering the iPhone 13 and iPhone 15 at almost identical prices. The price gap between the two models is only Rs 4,099, presenting an excellent chance for consumers to purchase Apple’s latest flagship without breaking the bank. The iPhone 13, which is now four generations old, starts at Rs 43,900 for the 128GB storage version, available in black and blue. In contrast, the iPhone 15, also with 128GB storage, is available for Rs 47,999. This small price difference makes it an easy decision for many to opt for the newer, more advanced model. Experts suggest that choosing the older generation is illogical, particularly given the minimal price difference.

The iPhone 15 provides significantly better performance, an enhanced rear camera setup, a slightly larger battery, and a more modern design. A notable feature of the iPhone 15 is its USB-C charging capability, which permits users to charge it with standard Android chargers. Conversely, the iPhone 13 is restricted to the Lightning to USB-C cable, which can be inconvenient for travel. The advancements in charging technology and performance improvements make the iPhone 15 a more future-ready option. The official retail price of the iPhone 15 in India is currently Rs 59,900, but Amazon’s Diwali discount of Rs 11,901 brings it closer to the price of the older model, making it particularly appealing to budget-conscious Apple users.

Although the iPhone 13 has been discontinued by Apple, it still retails for around Rs 43,900 on Amazon, which some may view as slightly high considering its age. However, for those adhering to a strict budget, this price remains a reasonable choice. The ongoing festive sale is likely the reason for these significant discounts; while Amazon has not indicated when the promotions will conclude, the company typically runs its Diwali sale for a month. Since the sale commenced last month, customers may have only a few weeks left to benefit from these prices.

For those weighing their options between the two models, the iPhone 15 clearly offers superior performance, a better camera, increased battery capacity, and the convenience of USB-C charging—all for a modest additional cost compared to the iPhone 13. With the festive season underway, this might be the ideal moment to invest in Apple’s latest technology without incurring full retail prices. Apple enthusiasts looking to upgrade will likely find the iPhone 15 an enticing option, while those with tighter budgets may still see the iPhone 13 as a practical choice. Regardless, the close pricing makes this Diwali sale one of the most captivating in recent memory for smartphone shoppers.
