Jio Offers 18 Months Free Access to Google's Gemini 3 AI

Google has officially unveiled Gemini 3, its most advanced AI model to date, marking significant improvements in reasoning, multimodal comprehension, and contextual intelligence. This model will be integrated into various Google platforms, including Search, the Gemini app, and AI Studio. While users worldwide can access Gemini 3 via paid subscriptions, Jio is providing an exclusive offer in India. The telecom giant has announced that eligible customers on its Unlimited 5G plans will receive free access to Google’s premium “Gemini Pro Plan,” valued at ₹35,100 annually, at no extra cost for 18 months. This offer is set to commence on November 19, 2025, and will be available to all users on qualifying plans.

The “updated Jio Gemini Pro Plan,” which comes with the operator’s 5G services, includes free access to the newly launched Gemini 3 model. Jio confirmed that the offer will automatically apply to all users subscribed to its Unlimited 5G packs once the Early Access window opens. To activate the complimentary Gemini Pro Plan, users must follow a straightforward process through the MyJio application: Launch the MyJio app on your smartphone, navigate to the home page to locate the “Early Access” banner, select the “Claim Now” button to initiate registration. A browser page will open displaying the details of the Gemini plan. Scroll down and tap “Agree” to complete the activation.

After confirmation, users can access the Gemini app to verify that their Pro Plan is successfully activated. This easy opt-in procedure ensures that even first-time AI users can utilize Google’s advanced model without hassle. The newly updated plan grants full access to Gemini 3, which Google characterizes as its “most capable language model to date.” With enhanced reasoning capabilities, improved multimodal performance, and a deeper understanding of user context, Gemini 3 aims to provide more insightful and intuitive responses. The model emphasizes grasping intent and subtle nuances rather than merely producing longer text.

For Jio customers, the complimentary package encompasses a variety of advanced AI tools: upgraded Gemini Live features for both Android and iOS, access to Gemini 3.0 Pro via the Gemini app and Google AI Studio, a revamped Search AI Mode powered by Gemini 3, the availability of Google Antigravity, an agent-driven development environment, enhanced AI capabilities within Google Photos, and integration of new research updates under SIMA 2. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has emphasized the importance of Gemini 3, highlighting its increased reasoning depth and reliable interpretation of complex information.

Through this collaboration, Jio users will have access to one of the most sophisticated AI tools available worldwide—at no additional cost—making this one of the most significant tech advantages currently offered in the Indian telecom market.
