Bengaluru, April 24 (). In a sign of rising poll temperature in poll-bound Karnataka, the ruling BJP on Sunday shared a video of a Congress leader slapping a youth.
In a video going viral on social media, Congress leader and MLA M.B. Patil is seen in action.
Assembly elections are to be held in Karnataka on 10 May.
Hooliganism is in the DNA of Congress, Karnataka BJP tweeted along with the video. Arrogant Karnataka Congress MLA MB Patil physically assaults a youth for sharing his grievances. Being beaten up for sharing grievances is the only guarantee for Congress.
According to BJP supporters, the man was allegedly slapped by Patil after he asked him an uncomfortable question about the development work done for his village in Bableshwar assembly constituency in Vijayapura district.
An angry Patil had allegedly slapped the man on his face while campaigning in his constituency on Saturday night.
However, the Congress MLA claimed that he got angry because of the use of unparliamentary language on the dais.
