Bhubaneswar: Tiki Mohini Mallik, a first-year student at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), has been chosen to represent India in the Under-63 kg weight category at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, taking place in Bahrain from October 22 to 31. This achievement adds to KISS’s distinguished reputation for developing young athletes who excel at both national and international levels. Mallik’s selection underscores her commitment, resilience, and the exceptional sports environment that KISS offers. Expressing her appreciation, Tiki Mohini Mallik stated, “I am grateful to Achyuta Samanta, the Founder of KIIT, KISS, and KIMS, for his unwavering support and visionary leadership.

His mentorship and the comprehensive support system at KISS have motivated me to chase my sporting ambitions and represent my country.” Achyuta Samanta congratulated her on this accomplishment, saying, “This is a proud moment for KIIT & KISS and for Indian weightlifting. The involvement of our student in such a prestigious international event acknowledges her dedication and determination, and reflects the robust sporting culture and extensive support from KIIT & KISS. I wish her every success and hope she brings honor to the nation.
