Director Kranthi Madhav, recognized for his successful films such as Onamalu, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, and World Famous Lover, has officially commenced his upcoming romantic project, Production No. 5, in collaboration with Sreeyas Chitra and Purna Naidu Productions. The film features Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Ira, and Sakhi in the leading roles, promising an engaging and heartfelt love story. The film was launched on October 3rd during Dussehra with a traditional pooja ceremony. Director Deva Katta initiated the proceedings with the first clap, while KL Damodar Prasad activated the camera, and Vara Mullapudi directed the opening scene. Producers Purna Naidu and Srikanth V presented the script to Kranthi Madhav.
Ira is making her debut in Telugu cinema, and Sakhi, who has previously appeared in Bengali television shows, is also entering the Telugu film industry. Chaitanya Rao expressed his enthusiasm about reuniting with Kranthi Madhav, highlighting their strong professional relationship. Producer Purna Naidu emphasized the significant partnership, praising the director’s unique storytelling style, while Kranthi Madhav mentioned that the film will be shot on a grand scale in scenic locations. This project is developing into a modern love story with broad appeal, targeting a 2026 release.
