Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Open 2025, organized by the World Pickleball League On Tour in collaboration with Hyderabad Superstars, concluded with Kuldip Mahajan, Anuja Maheshwari, Vanshik Kapadia, and Vrushali Thakare excelling in the professional divisions. The event attracted over 250 competitors over three days, boasting a prize pool of 15 lakhs. The final day featured championships in eight categories, including the Pro Men’s Singles, where Kuldip Mahajan triumphed over local favorite Sameer Varma in straight sets. Anuja Maheshwari claimed victory in the Pro Women’s Singles against Vrushali Thakare. However, Vrushali outperformed Anuja in both the Pro Women’s Doubles with partner Isha Lakhani and the Pro Mixed Doubles alongside Vanshik Kapadia, securing wins in both finals.
Additionally, Vanshik Kapadia achieved success in the Pro Men’s Doubles, teaming with Tejas Mahajan to defeat Sonu Vishwakarma and Ritam Chawla in a closely contested three-set match, dominating the final set. Supported by KLO Sports, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jackky Bhagnani, Hyderabad Superstars is one of the franchises in the second season of the World Pickleball League. “We are thrilled to see the entire pickleball community of Hyderabad come together for the Hyderabad Open. This marks a significant step towards ensuring that the next edition will feature over 500 players.
