Jaipur, June 4 (). The social security schemes announced by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot are enticing the public. In such a situation, the Bharatiya Janata Party has a big plan to counter Gehlot and make the lotus bloom again in the state.
BJP is going to raise the issue of deteriorating law and order in the state. Besides this, the party will raise the issue of unemployment, as the state ranks second in the unemployment index in India.
BJP leaders say that the second big issue is the alleged false promises made to the farmers and the unemployed. Farmers were promised loan waiver, while unemployment allowance was promised to the unemployed. However, none of these promises were fulfilled.
BJP state president CP Joshi said that despite the completion of four and a half year tenure of the state government, the Gehlot government neither waived the loans of the farmers nor gave allowance to the unemployed.
Commenting on CM Gehlot’s announcement of 100 units of free electricity, CP Joshi said, women, children, dalits and tribals in the state would have felt relieved if instead of announcing 100 units of free electricity, the chief minister had taken 100 measures to reduce crime incidents. What would have been said? The youth would have felt relieved that now the paper does not leak.
BJP leaders confirmed that the saffron party is eyeing the Lok Sabha polls as well, and is working to win all the 25 seats.
Joshi said that a huge public meeting will be organized in each Lok Sabha constituency. Local leaders have been given the task of organizing these programs and central teams will pool in to make them a success. Its purpose is to give the message of PM Modi’s signature schemes.
The party is also working to bring more women faces in this election. BJP’s media panelist Nimisha Gaur said the idea is to connect half the population with new faces, who are well-educated and knowledgeable.
The party is also vocal on the corruption of the state government. Rajya Sabha MP Kirorilal Meena recently addressed a press conference. He had said that the party would repeatedly expose the corruption cases that came up during the tenure of the Congress. He also demanded an ED and CBI probe into the gold and cash seized from a government building recently.
