New Delhi, April 19 (). BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya has advised Rahul Gandhi to leave Karnataka and concentrate on Amethi, claiming that the Congress will not even get a candidate for the local bodies and panchayat elections to be held in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, the stronghold of the Gandhi family.
Taking a dig at the condition of the Congress in Amethi, Malviya tweeted, “The condition of the Congress in Amethi is so bad that it is not getting candidates for the local elections to be held in Amethi Nagar Panchayat, Musafir Khana Nagar Panchayat, Jais Municipality and Gauriganj Municipality.”
Malviya further said, Rahul Gandhi, who has set up a love shop, leave Karnataka, your honor is being auctioned in Amethi.
Let us tell you that Amethi has been a stronghold of the Congress and the Gandhi family for a long time. Though Rahul Gandhi was defeated by BJP candidate Smriti Irani in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, it is believed that the prestige of the Gandhi family is still attached to Amethi.
