Gadag (Karnataka), April 27 (). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking him what contribution the BJP has made to the country.
Addressing a public meeting in Gadag district of poll-bound Karnataka, Kharge said, what is the contribution of the BJP to the country? Even your pet dog has not given his life for the country.
The Congress leader further said that Sonia Gandhi started giving free rice to the people. NREGA scheme was started by us. The only achievement of the BJP in Karnataka is taking 40 per cent commission. And PM Modi supports these people. It is not surprising that despite being the Prime Minister, Modi is going to villages and talukas to campaign for BJP leaders.
The Prime Minister had promised to bring back all black money deposited in foreign banks and give Rs 15 lakh to every citizen. But it seems that all the money is with Adani. The Prime Minister had to provide employment to 18 crore youth.
But no job is given. Double engine government has failed. During the Congress rule, big dams and large scale irrigation projects were implemented. Kharge asked what Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done in the last nine years?
If we win in Karnataka, we will win in the entire country, the Congress leader claimed.
