Patna, April 5 (). A person who was injured in a bomb blast in Bihar’s violence-hit Sasaram died at a hospital in Varanasi city on Wednesday. The officers provided this information.
On April 2, Raja Kumar, who died due to the explosion of a bomb in Sherganj area of Sasaram, was hit in the head.
Raja Kumar was facing charges of making bombs along with five others. All were injured in that blast and were admitted to District Sadar Hospital, but were later referred to BHU in Varanasi as their condition became critical.
Police said that Raja along with his mother had come to Sherganj in Sasaram to meet his aunt. At that time communal riots broke out in the city. A bomb exploded in a house and he was seriously injured along with five others.
After the incident, Bihar’s DGP R.S. Bhatti claimed that six people were involved in making the bomb and one of them detonated it, injuring them.
Sasaram Police is now trying to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to his fatal injury.
