New Delhi, April 23 (). A 39-year-old man was beaten to death by two men in Delhi’s Shadipur area. The police gave this information on Sunday.
The officer said that they received a PCR call of the incident around 11.30 pm on Saturday night.
The caller told that a person was lying on the road in an injured condition.
When a police team reached the spot, it was found that the injured had been taken to the nearest government hospital by the local people.
The man, identified as Pankaj Thakur, was declared brought dead by the doctors.
Based on crime scene inspection, local intelligence inputs and scanning of CCTV footage, two persons have been identified, police said.
Preliminary investigation of the case has revealed that the accused had thrashed the deceased with kicks and punches.
Efforts are on to nab the accused, police said. After that more information will be available.
