Preparation:
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 2 cups milk powder
- 3/4 cup boora sugar or powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 cup milk
- Chopped pistachios (optional)
- Rose petals (optional)
Method:
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast milk powder on low flame until brown.
- Add remaining ghee and cardamom powder. Mix well.
- Then add the milk and stir continuously until well combined and leaves the sides.
- Switch off the gas and when the mixture is slightly cool, add sugar and mix well.
- Form pedas and coat in sugar.
- Decorate with chopped pistachios and rose petals (optional).
Note: These can also be shaped like Modaks.
