A crime and suspense thriller aimed at young audiences, ‘Meghana’ is set to debut on the Telugu silver screen shortly. The film stars ‘Chitram’ Srinivas, Sushma, and Ram Bandaru, and is directed by Sudhakar Reddy Varra, with production by Nandi Venkat Reddy under Sri Shiva Sai Films. The launch event for the poster and teaser took place at the Telugu Film Chamber in Hyderabad, attended by numerous film celebrities. During the event, lead actor ‘Chitram’ Srinivas expressed confidence in the film’s strong content, stating, “This film will undoubtedly be a success and add another hit to my career.
I thank the director and producer for this opportunity.” Actress Sushma shared her gratitude for the support from the team, revealing her emotional connection to the press meet as it coincided with her birthday, which she had not celebrated since her father’s passing three years prior. She remarked, “This movie will be a significant milestone in my life.” Director Sudhakar Reddy Varra noted the film’s big aspirations despite its small production scale, highlighting that it was completed within two years amid various challenges. He emphasized that the story focuses on human emotions and relationships, and he is confident audiences will resonate with it.
Producer Nandi Venkat Reddy remarked that the film conveys a strong social message, aiming to engage family viewers with its entertaining narrative suitable for all ages. The release date will be announced soon. Chief guests, including director Sanjeev Mogoti and actors Kuppili Srinivas, ‘Gharshana’ Srinivas, Lankela Ashok Reddy, and Dhanunjay, praised the teaser for its gripping and innovative approach, wishing the team great success. The film is currently in its final post-production phase and is poised for theatrical release.
