Teja Sajja’s hit film Mirai, which has become his second release to surpass the ₹100 crore milestone following Hanuman, continues to perform well at the box office with a global gross of approximately ₹150 crores. In North America, it is approaching the $3 million mark, placing Teja in the same category as stars like Prabhas and NTR who have achieved similar successes. As Mirai enters its fourth week, it is facing tough competition from Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG, released on September 25, and the imminent release of Kantara Chapter 1 on October 2. To sustain its momentum, the film’s team has introduced a new song, Vibe Undhi.
Furthermore, the producers have lowered ticket prices to make the film more accessible for families. Balcony seating is now priced at ₹150, while first-class tickets are available for ₹105 across theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This strategy is aimed at drawing in families and children in light of the upcoming Dussehra holidays. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, and produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, Mirai features a cast that includes Teja Sajja, Manoj Manchu, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu, with music by Gowra Hari. With the new song and reduced ticket prices, the makers are optimistic that Mirai will maintain its successful box office performance, offering audiences a complete family-friendly entertainment option.
