Surat/Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Saturday that the recent assembly election outcomes in Bihar have demonstrated a clear rejection of caste-based politics by the state’s citizens. Speaking at a public gathering in Surat, Modi remarked that voters have dismissed those who attempted to create divisions within society, opting instead for development and unity. He noted that the political parties that faced defeat will take considerable time to recover from this setback. Modi commended the skills and global presence of the people from Bihar, highlighting their reach across the world and the respect they garner for their diligence and intellect.
He asserted that the electorate in Bihar possesses an understanding of politics on both national and international scales, favoring harmony over the ‘poison of communalism.’ Prior to his address, Modi visited the Pandori Mata temple, revered by tribal groups in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. He also conducted an extensive 4-km roadshow in Dediapada, where thousands of tribal members gathered along the route to welcome him. During this visit, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects amounting to Rs 9,700 crore. Modi is scheduled to meet with members of the Bihari community at Surat Airport before departing for Delhi, with an anticipated turnout of between 10,000 and 15,000 attendees. Union Ministers C.R.
