The film was officially launched today in Chennai by veteran filmmaker Kasturi Raja, Dhanush’s father, and will be directed by Magesh Rajendran. This project is a significant milestone for Naga Durga, who gained fame with her song Daripontothundu, which went viral and garnered over 100 million views on YouTube in just five months. With more than 220,000 followers on Instagram, her transition to cinema seems like a natural progression in her burgeoning career.
Pavish, who debuted in Dhanush’s film Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, will collaborate with Durga on what is expected to be a light-hearted Gen-Z romantic comedy. Filming is set to begin soon. Additionally, Naga Durga is preparing for her Telugu film debut, making this an important year for the talented artist from Telangana.
