Patna, March 29 (). National President of Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal (RLJD) Upendra Kushwaha said on Tuesday that he has no differences with the newly appointed Bihar President of BJP, Samrat Chaudhary.
During his address at a program here, he said, I want to promise Emperor Ashoka that I have no problem with Emperor Chaudhary. There is no difference between them. We are leaders of the 21st century, not the 19th century. We will work together so that Jungle Raj does not come again in Bihar. Nitish Kumar is sitting in the lap of RJD and is thinking of bringing back Jungle Raj in Bihar.
Samrat Chowdhary comes from the Kushwaha community and the BJP has made him the state president to strengthen its hold over the community. Kushwaha is also a prominent leader of the community and Chaudhary’s presence could take away his value.
Kushwaha parted ways with JDU for only one purpose, to strengthen his bargaining power with BJP in case any situation arises in future during Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and Assembly Elections 2025.
After the appointment of Samrat Chowdhary, the BJP has killed two birds with one stone. One is to hurt Nitish Kumar’s Luv (Kurmi)-Kush (Kushwaha) equation and the other is to become independent to get community support. It does not want to compromise with any other political force in Bihar.
Kushwaha said, people have spread rumors that I have a problem with Samrat Chaudhary. The way BJP has appointed him as the state president of the party, there is nothing left in JDU. It has become an empty box after I left the party.
He also said that he had made a mistake in the past by going with Nitish Kumar and promised that he would not make such a mistake in future.
He had earlier targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and alleged that his JDU was becoming hollow.
He said, Nitish ji was always vocal on corruption, but now he is silent. Why are you silent on corruption?
When asked whether Nitish Kumar will become the PM face of the opposition in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Kushwaha said: Tejashwi Yadav had already said that neither he has any ambition to become the Chief Minister of Bihar nor Nitish Kumar to become the Prime Minister. There is a desire. Tejashwi must have got the feedback of the people and that is why he said so. What will I say when the leaders around Nitish Kumar are saying that he will not become the Prime Minister.
