Noida, May 9 (). Now water (water-sewer) bills can be paid through mobile app in Noida. Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari launched the Jal app on Monday. About 84 thousand people will be able to get the benefit of this app. It can be downloaded through Google app and after that people can use it. Soon the iOS version of this app will also be launched.
To use this app, you have to enter your property number or property registration ID while login. After this the consumer will also have to feed a mobile number. OTP will come on this number, after verifying which the app can be used. After login to this app, the bill payment challan of the already paid bill and the details of the outstanding bill will be visible to the consumer. In addition to online payment in the app, challan can be generated for payment through NEFT, RTGS, DD. The consumer will get instant information about the payment through the app.
Ritu Maheshwari has told that five thousand water meters have been installed in Noida. Now their bills will also be removed. Although till now the bills were not coming out according to the meter reading. Officials told that their rates etc. are being fixed, after which the process of extracting the bill will start. Apart from this, after extracting the bill from the water meter, instructions have also been given to complete the work so that the consumer can get information about it through SMS.
