Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday acknowledged the support the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has garnered from various segments of society as India enhances its global standing. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to RSS members on the occasion of its foundation day and the centenary celebration. “I express my sincere greetings and congratulations to all the RSS members on this special day,” Majhi remarked in a video message. He noted that the 100-year journey of the RSS, which started in 1925, is centered around the principle of ‘nation building through individual development’.
“The organization has reached its centenary today thanks to the unwavering support of the people and the lifelong selfless dedication and discipline of countless volunteers,” he stated. Majhi also commended the contributions of women within the RSS. “The role of ‘Matrushakti’ and the ‘Rashtriya Sevika Samiti’ in sustaining the work of the RSS during challenging times is truly inspiring,” he added. “On this momentous occasion, let us all commit to working together for the nation’s benefit and strive to achieve the vision of a developed Odisha and a developed India in the near future,” he concluded.
