One lakh employees of Rajasthan will get benefit of old pension scheme

Maha govt 'ready' for OPS, employees call off weeklong strike

Jaipur, April 21 (). The Rajasthan government has started the process to give the benefits of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) to the employees of various boards, corporations and universities running with government assistance.

In line with the announcement made in the state budget, the Finance Department has issued an order in this regard. The order states that around one lakh employees of municipal corporations, UIT (Urban Improvement Trust), power companies, various boards, government undertakings and universities will join the old pension scheme.

To avail the benefits of OPS, existing and retired employees of the said institutions will have to submit a form issued by the Finance Department in this regard by June 15.
