OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 15 today, 13 November. This smartphone features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 7,300mAh battery, and three 50MP cameras. The launch event will occur at 7 PM IST on the OnePlus YouTube channel, with the phone available for purchase at 8 PM IST today. The display measures 6.78 inches, boasting AMOLED technology with a 1.5K resolution, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a brightness level of 1,800 nits, along with eye comfort features and 1.15mm thin bezels.
For performance, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, an extra touch chip, and a Wi-Fi chip, running on OxygenOS 16 (Android 16) with capabilities for 120fps gaming and a custom gyroscope. The large cooling system incorporates “Plus Mind” AI Gaming technology, providing less heat and improved speed with gameplay reaching up to 165fps. The camera setup includes three 50MP rear cameras utilizing the DetailMax Engine, without Hasselblad this time. The 7,300mAh battery maintains 80% capacity for four years and supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, functioning in temperatures as low as –20°C with bypass charging for gaming.
Its durability is backed by IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, along with a robust metal frame for the Sand Storm model. Key specifications include RAM options of 12GB or 16GB, storage choices of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, a front camera of 32MP, a thickness of 8.1 to 8.2mm, and color variants including Sand Storm, Absolute Black, and Misty Purple.
