Oppo has officially launched its flagship smartphone series globally, introducing the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro at a special event in Barcelona, Spain. This series signifies a notable advancement in performance, durability, and camera technology, with both devices set to be released in India next month. In Europe, the Find X9 starts at EUR 999 (approximately ₹1,02,800), while the Find X9 Pro is priced at EUR 1,299 (approximately ₹1,33,600). Oppo has stated that both models will be assembled locally in India, which is anticipated to make the domestic pricing more competitive. The launch in India is scheduled for November, with rumors suggesting a release date of November 26.
The Find X9 Pro will be available in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal, while the Find X9 will come in Space Black, Titanium Grey, and Velvet Red finishes. At the heart of both smartphones is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, which is described as the company’s most powerful mobile chip to date. Oppo claims it offers a 32% faster CPU, a 33% stronger GPU, and a remarkable 111% increase in NPU performance compared to its predecessor. Despite this enhanced performance, efficiency remains a highlight, with the new chipset reportedly cutting CPU power consumption by 55% and AI processing by 56%, resulting in improved performance and extended battery life.
The Find X9 series features 120Hz OLED displays that can achieve 1,800 nits of full-screen brightness and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness outdoors. The displays can dim down to 1 nit, ensuring visibility even in complete darkness. Oppo has also upgraded the optical fingerprint reader to a more secure ultrasonic sensor. Both models boast flat-edged designs and have set a new standard for durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, indicating resistance to dust, water submersion, and high-pressure hot water jets. The battery performance sees a significant improvement this year. The Find X9 is equipped with a 7,025mAh battery, offering 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse charging capabilities.
The Find X9 Pro features an even larger 7,500mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. Oppo asserts that both models will maintain 80% battery health even after five years of daily usage. In terms of camera technology, the Find X9 Pro is distinguished by a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor (1/1.28-inch, f/1.5, OIS) and a 200MP Hasselblad telephoto camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 70mm f/2.1 lens featuring Prism Hybrid OIS. It supports 4K 120fps video recording, marking it as one of the most advanced camera systems in a smartphone.
The Find X9 also offers a robust camera setup, including a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (LYT-600), and a 50MP ultra-wide Samsung JN5 sensor, along with a 9-channel True Colour Camera for enhanced color accuracy. Additionally, Oppo is introducing a teleconverter accessory exclusive to the Find X9 Pro, which enhances optical zoom capabilities up to 10x for photos and 50x for videos. With its combination of cutting-edge performance, long-lasting battery, and Hasselblad-enhanced cameras, the Oppo Find X9 series aims to redefine flagship smartphone innovation, and its upcoming launch in India is already one of the year’s most eagerly awaited tech events.
