Oppo has officially introduced the upcoming Reno 15 series, just days prior to the expected launch of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has confirmed that the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro will be unveiled in China later this month, showcasing an evolved design and premium finishes. A Reno 15 Mini variant is also rumored to be in development, although Oppo has not yet confirmed its existence. Visually, the Reno 15 lineup builds on the design philosophy of the Reno 14 series, which was launched earlier this year. Both new models feature a triple-camera setup within a square-shaped rear module, enhanced by new “Reno” branding to differentiate the series from its predecessors.
The sleek finish and refined layout highlight Oppo’s ongoing commitment to aesthetics and attention to detail. Oppo has introduced a vibrant color palette for its new models. The Reno 15 will be available in three elegant shades: Starlight Bow, Aurora Blue, and Canele Brown. The first two colors feature distinctive back panel designs, while the Canele Brown variant opts for a more understated, classic appearance. Meanwhile, the Reno 15 Pro will come in Starlight Bow, Honey Gold, and Canele Brown, with only the Starlight Bow variant reportedly featuring a unique gradient design for added visual appeal. Oppo is offering multiple storage configurations for users with varying needs.
The Reno 15 will come in five variants: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. Its counterpart, the Reno 15 Pro, will be available in four options: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. This extensive range ensures flexibility for both casual users and power consumers. According to early leaks and reports, both Reno 15 models are anticipated to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The front camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor, promising high-quality selfies and video clarity. Under the hood, the Reno 15 series is rumored to utilize MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset for flagship-level performance and energy efficiency.
The lineup is also expected to include 120Hz AMOLED displays with smooth refresh rates and fast-charging support, a hallmark of Oppo’s premium offerings. Oppo has confirmed that the Reno 15 series will officially launch in China on November 17, with an Indian launch anticipated in December. While pricing details have not been disclosed, industry experts suggest it may reflect the pricing structure of the previous generation. To recall, the Reno 14 was launched in India at ₹39,999, while the Reno 14 Pro was priced at ₹49,999. With its refined design, upgraded cameras, and performance-focused internals, the Oppo Reno 15 series aims to solidify the company’s presence in the premium mid-range smartphone market ahead of the Find X9 lineup’s debut.
