Pavan Davuluri, Microsoft’s Windows chief, has faced significant backlash following the introduction of the company’s vision for an AI-powered Windows. His announcement on X (formerly Twitter), which described Windows as evolving into an ‘agentic OS,’ was intended to highlight innovation but instead provoked frustration among users. This announcement came during Microsoft’s annual Ignite 2025 conference, where the tech firm showcases its latest AI and developer tools. While Davuluri aimed to illustrate Windows as a platform for AI advancement, many users felt it missed the mark.
