Modi said this during his visit to the state capital, where he unveiled the upcoming Rs 1,500-crore project at Technopark Phase 4-Technocity.

Modi said- Development of both physical connectivity and digital connectivity is necessary to ensure the progress of the entire country based on the goal of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. People from all sections of the society, irrespective of caste, creed and colour, are getting the benefits of digital and physical connectivity.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the Digital Science Park project is a major step towards the government’s efforts to drive the state’s transformation into a knowledge economy and a modern society that aspires and accepts innovation-led development.

Vijayan said- This project comes as part of our efforts to make Kerala a higher education and research hub by developing centers of higher education in science and technology. The Digital Science Park is envisioned as a world-class facility that fosters multidisciplinary innovation.

The park is coming up on a 13.93-acre site as part of Technopark Phase 4-Technocity and is located close to the Kerala University of Digital Sciences Innovation and Technology. The Kerala government has already allocated Rs 200 crore for the initial work of the park.
