Chikkaballapura (Karnataka), May 7 (). Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an election rally on Sunday.
He said, BJP has become weak in Karnataka. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming here and doing road shows for two days. This is not an election of Parliament. No one can fool people through road shows.
Addressing a rally in Sidalghatta town of Chikkaballapur district, Gowda asked, not a single Muslim has been made a minister in the BJP government. We all are children of Mother India. Why is BJP discriminating?

Gowda said he was waiting for his son HD Kumaraswamy to become the chief minister of Karnataka again.
The former prime minister said, in the last assembly elections, I had not even thought that Ravi (the local JD-S candidate) would face defeat. It is unfortunate that four acres of land was not given to the cemetery. I have donated land for Idgah Maidan and given reservation to Muslims and Valmiki community. We are all children of one mother and should not be discriminated against.
Former chief minister Kumaraswamy alleged that people were being inconvenienced due to Prime Minister Modi’s roadshow.
He said, PM Modi is doing road shows by troubling people. Due to his road shows, the people earning their livelihood are suffering. What is the purpose of the road show? This will have a negative impact on the children appearing in the NEET exam.
