On Monday, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma held a meeting with senior officials of all concerned departments at the Government Secretariat regarding preparations for her proposed visit to Jaisalmer. Officials from all departments participated in the meeting. It is being told that she is coming to Jaisalmer to participate in some program of the Indian Army. In the meeting, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma said that all departments should ensure all necessary preparations with mutual coordination. He said that along with strict security arrangements, the protocol should be followed completely.
In this regard, the instructions received from Rashtrapati Bhavan should be followed 100 percent. It is noteworthy that President Draupadi Murmu will come to Jaisalmer on 23 December. The President will participate in some Army program at Pokaran Field Firing Range. However, no minute to minute program has come yet regarding this.
But all the departments have started their preparations at their own level. In the meeting held in Jaipur on Monday, the Chief Secretary and VC conducted a detailed review of the medical and security arrangements, route and all other preparations in view of the proposed visit of the President.
In the meeting, Principal Secretary General Administration Dinesh Kumar took information about the proposed travel program and arrangements.
In the meeting, Director General of Police Umesh Mishra along with senior officers of Home, Medical and Health, PHED, Energy, Public Works, Urban Development and Housing, Information and Public Relations, Tourism, Autonomous Government Department, Motor Garage, BSNL etc. departments and Jaisalmer District Collector Ashish Gupta were present.
