Vaishali: As Bihar anticipates the assembly election results on November 14, political supporters throughout the state are engaging in prayers and rituals. In the Vaishali district, RJD leader Kedar Prasad Yadav has organized a 24-hour hawan and yagna in hopes of Tejashwi Yadav becoming the next Chief Minister. Conducting the ceremony at Bhagwanpur Kiratpur Rajaram village, Yadav—an associate of Lalu Prasad Yadav—mentioned that he made a vow before Lord Shiva. “Tejashwi Yadav is Bihar’s future. He will bring jobs to the youth and lead the state toward progress,” he stated while performing the ritual. Yadav expressed that this spiritual effort embodies the aspirations of numerous RJD supporters across Bihar.
“I initiated this 24-hour yagna so that Tejashwi ji becomes the Chief Minister and fosters Bihar’s development,” he explained. This is not his first act of devotion; during Chhath Puja, Yadav reportedly completed a two-kilometre dand pranaam (prostration) at a local ghat, praying for Tejashwi’s success.
