  • 2 cups roasted chickpeas (chana dal)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped dry fruits (optional)

Method:

  1. Grind chickpeas: Grind the roasted chickpeas in a mixer grinder until you get a smooth powder.
  2. Roast the powder: Heat ghee in a deep pan over medium heat. Add the chickpea powder and roast on low heat until it turns light golden brown. Stir continuously to prevent burning.
  3. Mix with sugar and cardamom: When the chickpea powder is well roasted and fragrant, turn off the heat. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Make ladoos: Let the mixture cool slightly until it can be handled. Take a small amount of the mixture in your palms and roll it into balls. You can press chopped dry fruits on top for decoration (optional).
  5. Store: Place the ladoos in an airtight container. These ladoos can stay fresh for a few weeks. Enjoy these delicious roasted chickpea ladoos with family and friends.
