The government has suspended Sanjay Singh’s new Wrestling Federation of India(wfi). Recently the Wrestling Federation of India(wfi) elections were held. In these elections, Sanjay Singh, close to BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, defeated wrestler Anita Sheoran. Sanjay Singh is considered close to BJP MP and former wrestling association president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. After this, wrestler Sakshi Malik announced his retirement.
The Indian Sports Ministry took action against the Wrestling Association and once again suspended the Wrestling Association. The recognition of new WFI President Sanjay Singh has also been suspended. Putting a stop to all the decisions taken by Chairman Sanjay Singh. All activities have been banned until further orders.

On Thursday, Sanjay Singh was successful in registering an easy victory on the post of President of the Wrestling Association. Sanjay Singh’s panel won 13 out of 15 posts. These results of the WFI elections greatly disappointed the performing wrestlers and Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik had decided to retire from the sport.
