The highly anticipated supernatural mythological thriller, Jatadhara, is set for a grand release in both Hindi and Telugu on November 7. Featuring Sudheer Babu and Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha in leading roles, this pan-India bilingual aims to provide a visually impressive and emotionally engaging experience. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the film is produced by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, with contributions from Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda. Veteran actress Shilpa Shirodkar makes her notable return, portraying a significant role as Shobha. During a press conference, Shilpa shared her excitement about rejoining Telugu cinema after a long hiatus since Brahma.
“I portray Shobha, a woman driven by greed for wealth and power — a departure from my previous roles. It was challenging yet fulfilling,” she remarked, commending the directors for their clarity and vision. Reflecting on her collaboration with Sudheer Babu, she stated, “He’s incredibly dedicated and professional. Although we’re related, we focus solely on our roles while on set.” Shilpa also expressed her appreciation to Mahesh Babu for unveiling the film’s trailer, describing it as a proud and emotional occasion. Jatadhara promises grand visuals, intense emotions, and captivating music, aimed at providing a distinctive cinematic experience. Shilpa concluded, “Audiences in both Telugu and Hindi are eagerly anticipating this film — it’s truly worth the wait.”
