New Delhi: Two-time Olympic medalist P V Sindhu has been re-elected for a third term on the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) Athletes’ Commission, as the governing body announced its new members for the term running from November 2022 to November 2029. Sindhu previously served on the Commission from 2017 to 2025 and has held the role of BWF Integrity Ambassador since 2020. Alongside her, An Se Young (Korea), Doha Hany (Egypt), Jia Yi Fan (China), and Debora Jille (Netherlands) were also named. All five were elected automatically due to being the sole nominees. An and Jia, who are the Olympic champions from Paris 2024, along with Jille and Hany, are participating in the Commission for the first time.
