Noida, May 27 (). Six people got scorched due to the explosion of a small cylinder in Chhalera village located in Sector-39 police station area of Noida. Seriously burnt Neeraj Saini and Bhim Saini were admitted to Kailash Hospital. The other four are undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
ACP Rajneesh Verma told that there is Arun Saini’s house in street number one of Chhalera village. Some people also live here on rent. The small cylinder caught fire while cooking on Friday night. People reached the spot to extinguish the fire, when the cylinder exploded.
Ganesh Kumar, Capli, Salam, Istekhan, Neeraj Saini and Bhim Saini, who were present nearby, got scorched due to the explosion of the cylinder. Neeraj and Bhim have more than 30 percent burns. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
CFO Pradeep Kumar Choubey said that as soon as the information was received, a fire brigade vehicle left for the spot. However, people brought the fire under control before the vehicle could reach there. Kitchen items were also burnt during this time.
