Tamil Nadu: Income Tax raids continue for second day

I-T dept raids over 30 locations of five builder groups across Jaipur

Chennai, 25 April (). Income Tax Department raids at 50 locations of private real estate developer G Square Realtors in Tamil Nadu continued for the second day on Tuesday.

According to sources, the raids are being conducted at the premises of G Square, a real estate firm owned by Chief Minister M.K. Suspected of having links to Stalin’s family.

The residences of Shanmugaraj, the chief minister’s son-in-law Sabarisan’s auditor, and his relative Praveen were also raided.

It is notable that BJP state president K.K. Annamalai had said that G-Square, a real estate firm, has close links with Chief Minister Stalin’s family.

Income Tax officials DMK MLA M.K. Raids were also conducted at the premises of Mohan, who is believed to be a close aide of Stalin.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s son and Tamil Nadu Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin told media persons when asked about the raids by the Income Tax Department, “Let the raids continue.”
