Tandoori Sauce
Preparation:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup ghee or herb oil
- 2 large spoon ginger paste
- 2 large spoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon hot masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 large spoon tandoori masala powder
- Chopped coriander for garnish
Method:
Combine yogurt, lemon juice, ghee or oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red pepper (if using), garam masala powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add tandoori masala powder and mix well.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- To let the flavors develop, cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with tandoori dishes, naan, or rice.
Note: You can adjust the quantity of spices to your preference.
