Adilabad, May 21 (). A 16-year-old boy died allegedly of a heart attack in Babapur village of Asifabad district in Telangana. The grieving family cut her birthday cake near her body to fulfill her wish.
The child’s birthday was on Friday, 19 May. He was undergoing treatment for stomach ailment at a private hospital where he died on Thursday.
His parents came home with the child’s body. Shortly after 12 o’clock in the night, they realized that it was Friday when the child’s birthday was. The father of the deceased, Gunavant Rao and mother Lalitha along with relatives arranged for the cake and the cake was cut near his body.
He prayed for him. Holding her hand, Kate cut. They clapped and sang birthday songs. During this the dead body of the child remained lying on the cot.
He was cremated later on Friday. Family members told that the child had a complaint of stomach pain. He was admitted to Mancheria Hospital, but died during treatment.
Doctors say that he died of a heart attack. The postmortem report is awaited to ascertain the exact cause of death.
