Ingredients for Thandai Ice Cream:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup thandai masala powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

For Garnishing:

  • 2 tablespoons warm milk
  • A pinch of saffron
  • 2 tablespoons thandai masala powder
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon sliced pistachios
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals

Method for Thandai Ice Cream:

  1. Whip the Cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk, thandai masala powder, and salt (if using) until well combined.
  3. Freeze: Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until solid.
  4. Prepare the Saffron Milk: In a small bowl, mix warm milk with a pinch of saffron. Let it steep.
  5. Assemble the Ice Cream: Before serving, stir the saffron-infused milk into the ice cream. Top with thandai masala powder, sliced almonds, pistachios, and dried rose petals.
  6. Serve: Scoop and serve the Thandai Ice Cream immediately.
