Chennai: Tamil Nadu has entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding with ANSR, an international leader in the establishment and scaling of Global Capability Centres for Fortune 500 companies, as announced by the government. This partnership is a significant step in enhancing Tamil Nadu’s status as a premier destination for technology, innovation, and high-value global services. By leveraging Tamil Nadu’s dedicated GCC policy, exceptional employability, and rapidly expanding tech workforce, the collaboration with ANSR is anticipated to attract substantial investments, enhance innovation capabilities, and create over 10,000 high-value GCC jobs in the state, according to a press release. Minister for Industries TRB Rajaa stated, “Through this partnership, ANSR will assist in attracting the next wave of global corporations.
We will facilitate policy enablement, expedite approvals, assist in site selection, and provide strong talent connections.” He emphasized the goal of making Tamil Nadu the most competitive GCC destination, noting the existing momentum with various sectors like technology, automotive, banking, financial services and insurance, engineering, aerospace, and retail choosing the state due to its talent, infrastructure, and governmental stability.
